Lindsey Sarria is a Visual Artist based out of New York City. As a self-taught Photographer and Colorist, she began her career setting up shoots in her tiny New York City apartment. Allowing curiosity to run freely, she explores various subject matters; landscapes, still life, lifestyle portraits, and street photography. Sarria’s imagery truly comes to life in post-production. Working primarily in color, she gravitates to muted tones giving it a retro aesthetic. Inspired by cinematographers like Christopher Manley’s work, she sets a scene for the viewer, transporting you back in time. Her photographic works live at an intersection of Documentary, Cinematic, and Editorial. Sarria was awarded the Silas H. Rhodes Merit Scholarship and is studying Photography and Video at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
