Hello, I’m Lindsey!

My path to photography was not a linear one and was realized a little later when I began exploring creativity in liminality. After working for a seeing eye dog school, I found myself paying more attention to the nuances in life, and began to  appreciate the subtleties. I’m inspired by cinematic lighting and rich color palettes that resemble analog, and am interested in environments that are not tethered to a particular time. Whatever the subject, I aim to uncover painterly composition in mundane scenes and to make “everyday” luminous…to highlight a side of the ordinary that borders on the sublime.
