Hello, I’m Lindsey!

My path to photography was nonlinear and was realized later in life. After working for a seeing eye dog school, I found myself giving more attention to the nuances in life, and began to  appreciate the subtleties. I’m inspired by rich cinematic lighting and muted color palettes that resemble a certain era, and am interested in liminal spaces that are not tethered to a particular time. Whatever the subject, I aim to uncover painterly composition in mundane scenes and to make “everyday” luminous…to highlight a side of the ordinary that borders on the sublime.
