Lindsey Sarria is a photographer and colorist drawn to the muted color palettes that were often used in 1950s-1960s advertisements. Much of her work centers around exploring time and its relationship to the things she holds dear, transient and enduring. Through her lens, there is an insatiable curiosity and genuine care given to the subjects. She is driven by nostalgia and often references various points in time to prompt a deeper awareness of the present and its connections to the past–how history, memory, and personal experiences intersect.
